Fight #11: Prieto Isidro Paraguay
23/12/2016 | Lac Leamy Casino, Gatineau Canada

Result: WIN (TKO)
Round: 1/12
Time: 2:44
Title: WBA-NABA light heavyweight

The light heavyweight slugger obliterated Argentina’s Isidro Prieto in under three minutes, easily overpowering the durable puncher en route to his eleventh knockout in eleven fights. Beterbiev (11-0, 11 KO) flattened Prieto (26-2, 22 KO) with a counter right thirty seconds into the fight and never let up. Staying patient, he worked Prieto over with combinations before ultimately knocking him silly with a series of vicious punches in the waning seconds of the round. Prieto’s arm gave out from under him when he tried to prop himself up and, though he somehow made it back to his feet, the referee correctly stopped it.

Fight #10: Ezequiel Maderna Argentina
04/06/2016 | Bell Centre, Montreal Canada

Result: WIN (TKO)
Round: 4/12
Time: 0:56
Title: WBA-NABA light heavyweight

Beterbiev dropped Maderna in the third round with a punch that didn't appear to land particularly clean. It did, however, have an effect on Maderna who was right back on the mat several seconds after getting back to his feet. Maderna then spit out his mouthpiece for a second time in an effort to swindle more time to recover, which prompted the referee to deduct him a point. Between that point deduction and the two knockdowns, it was a 10-6 round which put Maderna way behind on points. The next round opened with Maderna getting put down yet again before managing to get up - only to be dropped for the fourth time.

Titles: WBO International light heavyweight, WBA-NABA light heavyweight

Beterbiev made his record a perfect 9-for-9 with nine knockouts as Alexander Johnson became his latest victim on June 12, 2015 at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago. Using a vicious overhand right, Beterbiev knocked Johnson down twice in the fifth and a third time in the seventh before getting him for good at 1:38 of the round, clobbering him with a left hook and finishing him off with a booming overhand right that put Johnson through the ropes down and out. With the win, Beterbiev added the vacant WBO International light-heavyweight title to his other four won titles.

Fight #8: Gabriel Campillo Spain
04/04/2015 | Pepsi Coliseum, Quebec City Canada

Result: WIN (KO)
Round: 4/10
Time: 0:37
Title: IBF North American light heavyweight

Beterbiev faced off against another former IBF light heavyweight world champion, Gabriel Campillo, with his North American title at stake. Both men began cautiously until Beterbiev dropped Campillo late in the first round. The Russian slowly wore down his foe with multiple straight rights to the body. Finally in the fourth, Beterbiev would land a straight/uppercut hybrid that would hit Campillo square on the chin, and followed it up with a perfunctory left hook before walking to his corner while his opponent slid to the canvas, barely conscious. The PSI detector in his gloves stated that the first punch landed with 973 lbs of force.
